On Friday October 17th 2008 in the “Palazzo di Vetro” of the Giuseppe Lazzareschi Foundation in Porcari (Lucca), the third edition of “Technology and Passion, Award to Innovation” took place.
This event is dedicated to the leading national and international manufacturers of the Paper, Board and Tissue industries. The event was organised by the company Toscotec of Lucca, which is celebrating its 60th anniversary of activity in the Tissue, Paper and Board industry right in these days, in cooperation with the Foundation (www.toscotec.it).
“To look beyond” has always been a leading concept for Toscotec, which has never limited itself to standard products but which has always tried to introduce groundbreaking technological innovations and to achieve high performance objectives. Toscotec’s success originates from this skill and from the close relationship it establishes with the customer.
Toscotec S.p.A., a leading company in the supply of the turn-key plants, machinery and technology for the production of paper, offers a complete wide range of products and services from the production of paper for industrial use, to Tissue converting and pulp preparation.
Moreover, it also offers consulting, planning and technical assistance services to optimise production plants and upgrade already existing plants and machines.
The leitmotif of the event was the idea of “looking beyond”, a concept by Galileo Galilei that underlines the organisers’ will to stress the importance of the role that technological innovation can play in an economically important field such as that of Paper and Tissue.
